Windy then Cold! ❄ ARE YOU PREPARED?
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY AND A FREEZEWATCH, WHICH ARE IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.
A cold front pushes through today, bringing high winds and colder temperatures to our area!
Winds traveling south to southwest will reach 20-30 miles per hour, with gusts up to 40 - 65 miles per hour are possible. Conditions are expected to peak during the day then slow down in the evening.
Strong winds can create stress points on a roof that, over time, can weaken and become compromised.
Strong winds can also move debris which can make its way onto your roof. Shards of glass, tree branches, and other debris can sometimes be more damaging than the wind itself.
Getting on your roof yourself is not recommended as it can lead to personal injury and also further damage to your property.
Contact AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing and one of our trained professionals who has the tools and safety techniques will get up on your roof and check for damage.
If you have roof damage caused by wind and/or flying debris, it’s important to get it fixed immediately. The longer you wait, the more damage will occur.
Roof replacement and roof repair costs a lot less when you don’t have to add in the other costs of repairing leaks and water damage.
