Mark Shafer joined AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing in February, 2025 as Chief Executive.

Son of a general contractor, Mark grew up on construction sites - he has owned a successful concrete manufacturing company, is experienced in general contracting and has over ten years of experience in the roofing industry. His diverse experience also includes currency trading and corporate development.

​

Mark’s customer credo is building a quality product, providing superior service, and doing what you say you will do.

Sean joined AMAYA Roofing and Waterproofing in October, 2016 and ensures that AMAYA has the equipment and training needed to provide quality services and that our product meets or exceeds the acceptable standards of our clients.

 

A native of Illinois, Sean began his roofing career in 1983 as an apprentice roofer and worked through the ranks until he took over the service manager position in the late 1990's. March, 2004 he moved to Las Vegas where he built the service department for a local roofing contractor and created relationships with many inspectors, consultants, general contractors, building owners and property management companies.

 

With his hands-on approach and attention to detail, coupled with his knowledge and understanding of the roofing industry - Sean is an asset that sets AMAYA apart from the competition,

Kimberly joined AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing in August 2019, after relocating to Las Vegas from Reno, NV.

With six years of experience in the roofing industry and over 10 years of expertise in customer service, safety, and management, Kimberly brings dedication and skill to her role. She is committed to delivering exceptional service and contributing to the success of AMAYA’s projects.

In her free time, Kimberly is a passionate artist who enjoys drawing and painting. She also loves staying active through running and spending quality time with her family.

Mark joined AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing in April, 2019 as Estimator.

Mark comes from a long family line of roofers in Illinois and relocated to Las Vegas in 1980 where he started roofing as a laborer and worked his way through the apprenticeship. Shortly after becoming a journeyman, he started running more progressive projects where his passion for roofing grew. 

His knowledge and experience includes: single-ply, waterproofing, torch, shingles and metal roofing.

In his free time, Mark enjoys baseball, bowling and spending time with his family.

Diane started her career in customer service and quickly moved up the ranks through leadership roles in operations and service management within the commercial roofing industry.

 

Prior to joining Amaya, she successfully led service teams, built lasting client relationships, and developed strategic solutions tailored to property managers, facility owners, and contractors alike.

At Amaya, Diane is responsible for building and nurturing partnerships, supporting clients with everything from preventative maintenance planning to emergency leak response. Known for her professionalism, responsiveness, and deep understanding of commercial roofing needs, Diane is passionate about delivering value and peace of mind to every client she works with.

Outside of work, Diane enjoys mentoring young professionals, staying active in local industry organizations such as BOMA, IREM, and NAIOP, and spending quality time with her family.

Tristan joined AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing in April 2025 as Estimating Coordinator. He brings several years of related experience that will contribute to business development initiatives.

 

Tristan is an adventure seeker who in his free time enjoys hiking, traveling, reading and playing the guitar. 

Kari joined AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing in August, 2022 as Service Division Coordinator.

Kari relocated to Las Vegas, NV from Anaheim, CA (Orange County) where she worked with AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing’s sister company ADCO South. She brings seven years of roofing customer service experience as well as knowledge in plumbing and HVAC. 

Kari enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, playing darts and volunteering for a non-profit. 

Amberlynn joined AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing as Project Administrator in February 2024, bringing over ten years of customer service and administrative experience.

 

She is a Hawaiian native that has been a Las Vegas Valley resident for twenty years. Amberlynn is a mother of three children that enjoys family adventures, entertainment such as the National Finals Rodeo and listening to live music.

Denise joined AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing in June, 2021 bringing 30 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.

 

Originally from New Jersey, she relocated in 1998 to Tucson, AZ then to Las Vegas, NV in 2007. She prides herself in being a caring wife, stepmother and proud grandmother!

She enjoys motorcycle rides with her husband, camping and learning new information to broaden her mind. She also enjoys watching the Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey team - GO KNIGHTS GO!!

Mel joined the AMAYA Roofing & Waterproofing team as a consultant in October, 2017. She is a marketing & public relations professional and a native Texan that grew up a “roofer’s daughter”.

 

She has called Las Vegas home for over twenty years and enjoys traveling, riding motorcycles, watching Nascar & football (Dallas Cowboys) and being an advocate/educator.
